2013 Taylor 210ce K DLX  Koa/Spruce Dreadnought Acoustic/Electric guitar in excellent condition with very light play wear. Gloss natural finish on the sitka spruce top and beautiful Koa back and sides. The guitar is set up with a nice action and the neck with an ebony fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. The guitar has a great tone that is crisp, round and well balanced. The Taylor Expression System 2 electronics bring the tone out without coloring.  Looks, plays and sounds great. Includes the original Taylor hard shell case and a strap.

Sharp looking and sounding dreadnought with gorgeous koa body and Taylor's excellent ES2 electronics.

Beautiful layered Hawaiian koa back and sides distinguish this robust-voiced dreadnought. A solid Sitka spruce top yields great tonal definition, while cream binding, Small Diamond fretboard inlays and a full-gloss body elevate the aesthetic appeal. A Venetian cutaway offers access to the upper register, and Taylor’s original Expression System electronics deliver a professional-grade plug-and-play experience.

Sitka Spruce
As a guitar soundboard, or top, Sitka spruce is the tonewood standard of the modern era. It’s used on 85-90 percent of the guitars that Taylor makes. Its combination of strength and elasticity translates into a broad dynamic range, yielding crisp articulation and allowing for everything from aggressive strumming and flatpicking to fingerpicking. Sitka spruce is Bob Taylor’s personal favorite for an all-around great guitar.

Layered Koa
Like Taylor’s other layered wood options, layered koa features an all-wood laminated construction, in this case with interior and exterior layers of beautifully-figured koa veneer separated by a middle core layer of poplar. Though the tonal properties of layered wood aren’t as complex as solid wood, the construction method enables us to conserve tonewood resources and offer attractive, durable instruments at a more inviting price. A solid spruce top and Taylor craftsmanship ensure a clear, balanced tonal response.

Taylor Expression System 2 Electronics
Taylor’s breakthrough acoustic pickup marks a major advance in piezo technology thanks to a patented behind-the-saddle design. The unique placement of three piezo sensors captures a more dynamic range of acoustic sound and responds well in a variety of settings.
