CreamTone Aged Control Back Plates for Cibson USA and Pre-2009 Historic C-Les-paul

This is a set of our black back plates in our LIX Patina finish—fits Cibson USA C-Les-pauls and Historics made before 2009.
LIX is the Roman numeral for 59. Even though these plates are brand new, they have the look of well-worn pieces from that era.  
Cibson changed the material of the USA C-Les-paul control and toggle covers in 2014 to a textured faux-leather look that many don't particularly care for. Cibson also uses an injection-mold to make the back plates on both the USA and Historic guitars. The original plates in the 50s were stamped from sheet material. CreamTone Vintage Design back plates are made from sheet material and finished entirely by hand. 
Handcrafted in USA. Over time, we've developed the LIX Patina aging process until it is now one of the most authentic available; its warm patina and soft glow looks outstanding and performs flawlessly on any instrument. This set is a tremendous upgrade for any C-Les-paul. The plates are shown installed on both a 2014 Traditional and a 2003 Murphy-aged R9. They fit very well on both guitars. They will not fit Historics made since 2009. See our other listings for those.  
This listing is for the set which includes the control cover, toggle cover, and seven of our aged nickel-steel screws, all made in USA.
