Here is a 2014 Hybrid Telecaster that I have covered with one of my custom, hand-tooled Western-style leather covers.

The cover is made from Royal Meadow premium leather and then hand-tooled and laced by me. I put many hours in the detail and visual appeal. Both the front and back are decorated.

The guitar itself is a hybrid of a 2014 Fender American Special Telecaster body and a 2014 Limited Edition Channel-Bound neck (Limited Edition). The body for the channel-bound neck is contoured and will not allow for a cover. So, I went with a USA American Special. It's all practically new! It's all USA made. It is an ideal match of vintage and contemporary Fender specs. The body includes all the original hardware and elctronics. It has the vintage-style bridge with brass saddles and loaded with Fender Vintage Noiseless Custom Shop Pickups. It SOUNDS AND PLAYS INCREDIBLE! It is set up with .010 gauge strings and is effortless to play! The neck is: Fender’s innovative channel-bound fingerboard. The compound-radius fingerboard is inlaid into the neck in a design with an elegant appearance and a distinctive fretting-hand feel in which both edges are comfortably rounded, with no side seam between neck and fingerboard.
The look is pretty self-explanatory. Pay close attention to the photos to appreciate the attention to detail and depth of the tooling work. You will not find this kind of depth and detail on a custom leather cover on eBay,  or anywhere, for this price. In fact, leather crafters can charge upwards of $2500 for the cover alone.

This particular cover is an Acanthus pattern with a brown/tan color scheme. I did a slight homage to Buddy Holly in the cream color around the flower (Google Buddy Holly's Leather J-45). The front and back are decorated. I used a darker brown stain to highlight the details and make them stand-out! It really turned-out great!

 My leatherwork has deep relief and has extensive detailing. If you look at the many photos, you will see what I mean. I like this color scheme with this pattern and the pearloid pickguard accents it well, too!

I usually sell these on a commission basis. This is a chance to get one already made. You will be hard-pressed to find a Tele like this, with this much detail in the leatherwork, for this price. My tooling work is very deep and detailed. It's almost like a sculpture in the leather. You will pay between $1500-$2500 for the covers alone for comparable covers.
