Of the 20 guitars that I now own (from MM EVH's, Parkers, ESPs, Steinbergers, Taylors, Suhrs, etc.), all of which are $1,500.00 plus - both of the RWGs I've owned stack up equally in fit, finish, sound and playability. I've been retired for about 15 years now (still playing but not recording), but recently, through a lot of coaxing by friends and fans have started recording again, and intend to use my RWGs with the rest of the lineup.
Simply stated, the RWG guitars are the best value dollar for dollar that you can find. Period. My $%^#  has spent more time in repair than in my home. Yes, I have rarely purchased any guitar valued for less than $1,500.00 - until I saw RWG. I tried one and went out and immediately bought a second. I let a friend - a working musician and devout Fender guy - try one of my RWGs. He loved it so much he wanted to buy it on the spot. I gave it to him and it became his main working guitar. He immediately purchased a second RWG and will continue to buy more (as I will). If that doesn't tell you what you need to know about these instruments then - well - you may be a little thick.
For working musicians there isn't a better value to be found.
You can spend a huge amount more, but you won't find a better value. Ever.
