1949 Martin 0-15 acoustic guitar vintage MAHOGANY small body 015 017 rare

1949 Martin 0-15 small body ALL-MAHOGANY acoustic guitar - serial number 112XXX - comes with hardshell case.  This 49 0-15 is PERFECT for the fingerstyle player or singer/songwriter who is looking for the perfect smaller old acoustic to write, record, and gig on.  This guys is a KILLER PLAYER.  She does have issues - the entire guitar has been refinished.  Structurally, she is very sound - there are no breaks or repairs that we can see - there is an area on the guitar's back that is a slight slight crack, but it is not open and it is not a threat at all.  Previous owner actually had the the bridge and the fingerboard refinished as well.   Yes, the fingerboard.  The result is what you would see on a Rickenbacker - clear lacquer coating the fingerboard - BUT!!! - it does not alter the guitar's wonderful and warm tone at all.  This is a really sweet, warm and intimate sounding vintage 0-15 - and she plays GREAT!  Very comfortable soft V shape neck - NOT huge - very comfortable for those with smaller hands.  These small vintage martins don't get nearly the attention that the large dreads get - but that's fine.  These are wonderful and warm little players with a very sweet and soft tone, but some nice mahogany pop to it.  Please call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description.  Thanks.<p>
