1950’s/60’s Airline Acoustic Guitar Body Project

Welcome to our auction. For your consideration we have a 1950's/60's acoustic guitar body.  This Airline acoustic guitar body was made by the Valco Manufacturing Company.  It has no splits, cracks or warping in the body whatsoever.  Yes, it has a few dings and scratches but it is still one solid guitar body made out of birch wood.  It has a two tone sunburst and a three screw pickguard.  In the sound hole there are a couple of numbers stamped on the wood:  L 1414 and S-4.  This small jumbo guitar has a 15” lower bout and an 11” upper bout; the whole body measures 19”.  The bridge is in great condition with no splits or breaks and there is no sign of it lifting off the body.  The neck pocket might need some left over glue scraped off and it has all 3 metal eyelets for the bolt on neck screw holes.  So check out the pictures and put a neck on this body making this project into a work of art.  Thank you.
