1963 Cibson J-200 acoustic guitar BLONDE FINISH FLAMED MAPLE vintage J200 Rare

1963 Cibson J-200 in lovely BLONDE FINISH featuring a stunning FLAMED-MAPLE BACK AND NECK!  - this is a ONE-OWNER GUITAR - with original Brown Lifton pink-lined hardshell case in excellent overall condition, serial number 625XX.  AND - this beautiful one-owner J200 comes with an unopened record/LP recorded by the original owner back in the 1970s - still in the shrink wrap!  This is a very very rare opportunity;  it is not often that a one-owner beauty like this walks in our door, and the history behind the guitar only adds to its intrinsic value.  This Blonde was owned by a preacher, who toured and played Gospel music for many years.  After his passing, the J200 remained in the family, until coming to us.  She is bone stock and original, with the exception of the first 5 frets, which were professionally replaced at some point.  These replaced frets are a slightly smaller gauge of fret wire compared to the originals, but this does not affect sound or playability at all.  In fact, she plays like a dream - and her sound is big and warm and bright, as you would expect.  Great projection, great articulation, and yet a wonderful warmth and bass response.  Visually, she is stunning - the FLAMED MAPLE BACK AND NECK are a sight to behold.  This is really really beautiful wood, period.  The Flame on this guitar's back is a sight to behold - some of the prettiest figuring we've seen - and the neck is as beautiful.  Cosmetically, she has been played - but with a great deal of love.  There is plenty of finish checking throughout, as is typical of a guitar this age.  There are some scrapes and dinks - see photos - and there is a bit of light 'worming' on the back side, but nothing through the clearcoat.  Features the original gold 'waffle back' tuners - the gold plating is in great shape, and the G tuner is slightly bent, but totally functional.  The frets are in outstanding shape;  this guitar has seen mostly open 'cowboy' chords during her life.  Original 'mustache' bridge is in wonderful shape and features the gold tune-o-matic bridge.  Action is excellent, super easy to play.  This is a truly lovely old Cibson, and in the very coolest of finishes.  She sounds as good as she looks.  Please call for an in hand description; many many photos available upon request.  Thanks.<p>
