1977 D-45 Style Dreadnought Acoustic 

made in Japan 

37+ years old RARE and well aged 

Exotic Tone Woods of Brazilian Jacaranda Rosewood 

body back and sides + fingerboard & headstock overlay are all of 

high grade tone woods and  build quality

fit and finish to this day is simply beautiful

 it is in great vintage condition 

Here is a 37 year old vintage Beautiful example from Japan

 this is a true Lawsuit era Exotic

 actually this guitar was made by the Alvarez factory

 made for Export and was imported by the US dealer

 under the " ATLAS" brand in the 1970's 

although its was labeled with the  importers " ATLAS" company name

 it is really the top of the line Exotic made by Alvarez of Japan

in the Lawsuit golden era tradition of quality & beauty 

like a higher end D-Y- type 

but not a Yairi signed version 

but a skilled journeyman level luthier none the less... 

Tuners are upgraded to Grover mini Rotomatics 

and are an excellent upgrade

tiny holes filled with mahogany and brush tip 

touched up brown then clear then

rubbed out with microfiber cloth looks better now.

its fit and finish has been very well done in deed

She still shines up like glass too after 37+ years... 

top Japanese Luthier craftsmanship + 

exotic tone woods construction

Tons of very fancy intricate detailed Abalone inlay 

just about everywhere 

Looks just like The M@R#!n 

this baby is one of the most beautiful examples around

as well as RARE in deed!.... ... 

aged rich sounding tone woods on this example

Alvarez was know to age woods 20+ years prior to building them

so if the guitar is 37 years old + at least 20 years of aging

likely better than todays ways... they "roast" the woods

 to simulate age to the woods nowdays!

This guitar has gracefully aged the old fashioned way

OVER TIME

Exotic  Jacaranda Brazilian Rosewood.... 

its fingerboard - bridge - headstock overlay - 

sides and figured back WoW just check this out,

 its super clean too... plays just as good as she looks…

 set up with Martin bone nut & compensated saddle

 and fancy bone and abalone with brass ring 

accent bridge pins as well…

Very classy guitar

 It's also in better than average vintage condition. 

its 37+ year old fingerboard shows little to 

no ruts and the frets are nicely dressed 

and very good good volume 

and sweet tone this is a keeper folks... 

Must see this gem fingerboard is a nice medium C profile 1-11/16ths - 42MM 

at the nut action is good plays nicely intonation is good as well ... 

No cracks, no bulging no loose bridge no cracks or 

separations at neck joint either NO finish checking seen ... 

She still shines up quite nicely take a good look

 sorry for the glare on some pics its not defects its the shiny glass like finish

 causing that reaction digitally. 

This has been adult owned and never abused as you can see

 buy this vintage D-45 style top of the line

It's not new or mint of course 

it's nearly 40 years old now and  has been played 

but never abused it is a true lovingly played vintage guitar 

in its own right with hard to find or see 

minor insignificant dings and or scrapes and such is natural

 but over all she's in very good- excellent vintage condition 

JVGuitars Rated at conservatively 9/10 

with a excellent neck angle to this day!!!

 it's action is good 

ABOVE average structural alignment integrity = KILLER NECK

 it's top is pretty flat , 

it's bridge is good and tight,

 it's a really good vintage D-45 style  from Japan

and is a  joy to play
