1978 Fender Jazz Bass electric bass TRANSLUCENT BLONDE FINISH vintage precision

1978 Fender Jazz Bass in TRANSLUCENT BLONDE FINISH in excellent condition with original molded Fender hardshell case, serial number S8847665.  This older Jazz looks really really sharp in a 'Tuxedo' kind of way with its original BLONDE finish next to its original black pickguard and maple fingerboard.  The sticker on the backside of the pick guard has the matching serial number on it, by the way.  She is in great shape - some scratching to the backside, some light scratches and minor dinks and some discoloration that can happen to the old Blonde finishes - but that's about it, and she comes with both original chrome covers.  Some very nice grain showing through that finish, as well.  Pickups are great great sounding older Dimarzios, and two pots were also changed to Dimarzios.  The pickups sound excellent, and all functions as it should.  Frets are in great shape - only a light divot on the first few frets - ther wise, they are fine.  This is a really classic looking older Fender Jazz bass in a finish that recalls that 50s Fender vibe.  More photos available - call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description.  Thanks.<p>
