This one is just out of the store owners private collection. This very well preserved Custom still sleeps in the original Cibson molded case from the era. The guitar hasn't seen much action in more than a few years but it will arrive with a fresh set of strings and set up. Guitar appears to be original in every respect except possibly the speed knobs and strap buttons. Cosmetically, the original frets show very little wear. The back of the neck shows signs of being played but there are no nicks or scratches. All binding and inlays are intact and perfect. CTS pots are dated to the 18th week of 1978. Overall finish is original and in very good condition with a few light surface scratches on the top and sides, and some slightly deeper buckle worming on the back. No play wear or buckle rash through the finish. The gold hardware looks very good which is unusual for guitars from this era. Overall, a very solid and visually pleasing C-Les-paul Custom that is collectable and ready to rock. The weight is 10.5 pounds.
