DON'T LIKE MY PRICE? MAKE AN OFFER. DON'T BE SCARED. JUST PRESS THE MAKE OFFER BUTTON.

First things first - as with the amp I sold last week, I'd keep this thing in a heartbeat if I didn't need the money. It absolutely RIPS UP and SHREDS all day long. It's a metal beast that just kills and thrashes like nothing else. However, kid #4 is not exactly easy on the bank account, so some stuff has got to go.

Those in the know already understand that this is a 100% ESP made guitar. Why pay 3 grand for an ESP flying V when these go for far less money?

This guitar started life with a pointy "American" style headstock. At some point, the tip was broken off and a big gouge was chunked out of the first fret on the treble side.
I repaired the headstock and turned it into the rounder hockey-stick style from 1985 and did what I feel is a fantastic save-job on the gouge in the neck. When I first got this neck, the high E string was kinda hovering in space and you couldn't really fret a D-minor or F-major chord. With my repairs, you can play anything and everything on it as if nothing had ever happened. You can still see that there's a boo-boo on that side of the fretboard, but it's completely playable now.
Tuners are brand-new Gotoh machines which are physically identical to the Schallers this would have come with in 1986. Unfortunately, Schaller changed the shape of their tuners so new ones don't fit the old screw mounts.
Comes with chrome Schaller strap lock buttons, tho they are not pictured.
The bridge is a Kramer branded Floyd. It's actually, as far as I can tell, a Schaller Floyd with a Kramer logo. It has the larger baseplate and the fat locking screws that the Schaller branded ones have. I've never seen an aftermarket copy of that type of Schaller Floyd.
Guitar has been completely rewired with quality stuff - a Switchcraft 3-way switch, Bourns no-load tone pot, and a Bourns push-pull volume pot. The push-pull splits both humbuckers to single-coil mode so you can get a ton of different sounds out of this thing.
It's currently loaded with a brand-new set of Seymour Duncan Dimebag pickups. I'm a Duncan dealer, so I'm happy to install whatever set of pickups you want in this thing. If you want something that's not in stock, you'll have to wait a week. Sets I currently have in stock: Black Winter, Vintage Blues ('59 neck & bridge), Pegasus & Sentient, JB & '59 Neck.  Take your pick, you can have it with any of those sets and it'll ship within 2 days of auction close. Any other set and it'll hold up shipping for a week.
What doesn't it have?

It doesn't have the tremolo cover or the control cover. Any 1985-1989 Kramer control cover will fit. It doesn't have a string tree or a truss rod cover. It doesn't come with a trem bar. It takes the newer kind with a threaded collar. It also doesn't have the allen key holder on the back of the headstock. All that stuff can be found online for pennies.
Guitar ships without a case. Ships cheapest if I take the neck off and box it up in a small box. If it comes assembled it will likely hit USPS and UPS "Large Package" surcharges since that lower horn on the V is so stinkin' big.
