1987 WESTONE Challenger Black Vintage Electric Guitar Project

 The overall look of the guitar most closely resembles the Westone Challenger, though it is not an exact match due to the difference in the trem.

I will be honest, this guitar needs a lot of Love, but it is a very rare find.
It is missing both volume knobs and the pickup switch knob. It is missing one of the tuning knobs and 2 knobs from the trem. The body isn't in horrible shape except for a gash on the rear bottom of the guitar. The neck has average wear and a small chip at the top of the 13th fret. I have not tested the electronics on this guitar.

I believe this guitar in particular is rare (possibly the Challenger prototype) because the earliest I have heard of the Challenger being produced was in 1988, but this guitar was made in October 1987 as shown on the neck plate and there is a difference in the trem and the space on the body for the trem to sit from the 1989 model shown from the catalogue.

Master volume and tone controls, 5 way switch

Bendmaster FR double locking trem (Floyd Rose licensed)
