1997 Cibson CL-10 Standard Dreadnought Acoustic Electric Guitar Arched Back w/hc

Up for sale, a 1997 Cibson CL-10 Standard dreadnought acoustic guitar in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. A very short lived and unique model that was only available from 1997-98, the CL-10 covers much of the same general tonal territory as the venerable J-45, with a soft shoulder dreadnought body, solid Sikta spruce top, and mahogany sides. "CL" stands for "Custom Line," and the CL series would eventually morph into first the Songbird and then the Songwriter Cibson acoustics. What makes the CL-10 such a standout instrument, however, is the arched mahogany back, which adds a certain roundness and increased projection to the tone, and has a general sonic character that is very reminiscent of many Guild acoustic models. The top end is quite clear and bell-like as well, with great string to string clarity and an even response that's great for fingerpicking. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this CL-10 Standard has been dialed in with low action and fresh 12-53 bronze Elixer strings.
The three-piece mahogany neck has a very comfortable and fairly slender C shaped profile that stays fairly consistent in depth up the neck and flattens out a bit near the center of the profile. The neck meets the body at the 14th fret and features 20 vintage-style frets that are near mint, with only the faintest wear beneath the B string on frets 1-4, and virtually no wear up the neck. The frets have perfectly rounded crowns and retain their full, original height, playing cleanly up the neck with no buzzing or dead notes. The scale length is 24 3/4" and the nut measures a full 1 3/4", which is another feature that should appeal to fingerstyle players, offering ideal string spacing for easy chord navigation and accurate lead work. The headstock features the original chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners which turn very smoothly and hold pitch as they should.
The body is outfitted with the factory installed Cibson under-saddle transducer pickup which is a passive design that utilizes a 1/4" jack that doubles as the rear strap button. This pickup is crisp and clear, and perfect for gigging situations where you need to keep up with a larger ensemble. Other features include a moustache-style carved rosewood bridge, abalone soundhole rosette, and batwing tortoise pickguard. The orange oval Cibson label with model and serial information is also visible through the soundhole. 
Cosmetically, this guitar is near mint and extremely well cared for since new. There are a few extremely faint scuffs on the back of the guitar, and light lacquer checking on the treble side lower bout edge of the top, but no serious or structural wear of any kind!

The original Cibson hardshell case with blue plush interior is included.
