1997 Taylor LKSM-6 Leo Kottke Signature Model Jumbo Cutaway 6 string Acoustic Guitar in excellent condition with little to no playwear on the front or back. Nice natural gloss finish on the Sitka Spruce top and Tropical Mahogany back and sides. The guitar has a nice lower action and the satin finished mahogany neck with a soft "V" profile and an Ebony fretboard has a great feel. The frets are in excellent condition. The Taylor jumbo body models are the largest shape Taylor offers. The shape lends itself to full bass tones without being bottom heavy. The contoured waist helps focus the midrange. 

This particular instrument has a quality of tone that is rich and complex, deep yet well balanced. The LKSM-6 differs from 12 string model in the fact that is designed to be tuned to standard pitch with medium gauge(.013-.056) strings (the LKSM-12 model was intended to use heavy gauge strings and tuned to C#, which yields Kottke's rumbling, throaty piano guitar sound). The way this instrument is set up you can strum with great projection yet its so easy to play you can play fingerstyle with ease.
