1999 Fender CIJ Japan Blue Flower Stratocaster Strat Electric Guitar Tweed Case​

Welcome to Musicdungeon, you are bidding on a great piece. This is the Fender Japan Blue Flower Stratocaster Electric Guitar. 25.5" scale length. 1.66" nut width. 8 lbs even. The serial here corresponds to 1999-2002.

This Blue Flower has that something special- big yet articulate with tight overdrives.
The semi light weight of the basswood body here allows for great natural resonance, adding a nice 'acoustic' depth to the pickups while also creating some fantastic midrange push.
The trio of single coils allows for all of your favorite Strat tones- from glassy bridge to warm neck tones.
The '2' & '4' positions here are just incredible for cleans- super tight with the perfect blend of articulation and warmth.
These singles take to overdrive very well also. On the quiet side and hum cancelling in '2' & '4'. This is sure to become your go-to Strat.
Japan has always been known for their comfortable necks and this one is a perfect example. The maple neck here is .85" deep at the 5th fret with an oval C profile. The deep body cutaways allow full access to all 21 frets. Add to that the 7.25" fretboard radius and you have a classic bend feel.
The look here is beautiful- Blue Flower finish, Flower guard, white knobs/covers, and chrome hardware.
This Strat is in exceptional overall condition- purchased as a collector piece- I can't find anything to report on this beauty.
The frets here are clean- set up with action just 3/32" at the 12th fret low E.
