 What makes this guitar special: A great 50s throwback model, this Custom Shop Strat has a ton of vintage charm and excellent tone to boot. It features a set of Rio Grande single-coils which output a ton of classic Strat tone, except with a slightly sweeter and less pronounced mid-range, plus a bit of extra warmth and upper end glassiness. It has a soft V neck with a fantastic in-hand feel that borders between the comfort of a chunkier neck mixed with the quickness or something a bit more trim. The Closet Classic 2-Tone Sunburst finish gives it a truly vintage look and feel that help cement its tenured vibe. Plus, it comes with a hardshell case and a pro setup so it plays beautifully right out of the case.

Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall. Outside of the purposeful finish checking of its Closet Classic finish, this guitar shows very few other signs of wear besides a small ding or light scratch here or there, and is otherwise in fantastic shape. The frets show almost no wear whatsoever and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is straight and the truss rod functions as it should. Original pickups are included.

Body: Double cutaway contoured alder body in Closet Classic 2-Tone Sunburst. Single-ply white pickguard. White plastic top hat control knobs and pickup covers. Vintage-style synchronized 2-point tremolo bridge.
  
Neck: Soft V shape maple neck and maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Vintage-style nickel tuning machines. 1 5/8” nut width. 25.5” scale. .88” deep at the 1st fret and .98” deep at the 12th.

Electronics: Rio Grande Vintage Tallboy ST in the neck and Rio Grande Halfbreed ST in the middle and bridge. 1 x volume, 2 x tone controls. 5-way pickup selector.

Weight: 7 lbs 11.6 oz

Playability/Sound: The soft V neck plays great from the nut up into the cutaway and should be an easy transition for most players. The 50s single-coils sound great in every position with a bit of extra warmth and upper end jangle.
