1970's Cibson SG Standard Electric Guitar in  very good condition. Beautiful Inverness Green finish on the mahogany body and neck with black pick guard and chrome hardware. The finish could possibly be a refinish. It has filled in the serial number impressions on the back of the head stock. You can just barely see the Made in USA impression. I have seen this on some white finished Cibsons with factory finishes. If it is a refin it looks like it was done professionally and a long time ago. There is a lite finish crack on the back of the headstock. It is just the finish and does not compromise the structural integrity or playability of the guitar.

The guitar has a great action and the slim profile SG neck with an un-bound ebony fretboard with the smaller block inlays feels very good. The frets are in good condition with moderate playwear. The "Super Humbucking" pickups have a great tone with good output. The guitar is equipped with a non-original tune-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece and Grover tuners. This is a nice playing, sounding SG in a great color.  

Includes a gig bag. Made in the USA.
