97' Fender Candy Apple Red Deluxe Stratocaster Lace Sensor Pickups Nr Mint Strat

Description

This auction is for a very cool, and very rare, Fender Stratocaster electric guitar that has been played very little.  

It's in near mint (plus) condition and looks fantastic.  You just won't find a cleaner Strat that's 18 years old.  

At first glance, the guitar looks like an American Standard or a Strat Plus + but I believe it's actually a PowerHouse Strat Model.  The serial number starts with MN7 which indicates it was made in 1997.  The headstock has a beautiful vintage style Fender logo.  It also says Made In Mexico and Deluxe Series on the headstock. 

Again, I believe this started out as a Power House Strat with active pickups, or an Eric Clapton type Boost which requires a battery.  However, if there ever was a battery, it was removed.   Regardless, the guitar now has three Fender Lace Sensor pickups which are a huge upgrade and they sound fantastic. 

It also has a factory Fender vintage style Tremolo system with vintage style Fender tuners.  The vintage style Fender logo, the vintage type multi layer (White Black White) pickguard and the beautiful Maple neck also add to the classic " Vintage ReIssue " Custom Shop type appearance.   There's a small cavity (and cover) on the back for a 9V battery, but again, there is no need for a battery, and there is no battery or wiring for one, inside the cavity. 

As you can see, the Strat has as the highly sought after Candy Apple Red finish and it looks incredible.  It also has a very cool Maple fretboard with a factory vintage style bridge and tremolo system.  This guitar looks a lot like a 1957 Vintage ReIssue or Custom Shop Strat.  A very nice used Fender gig bag will also be included at no charge.

This beautiful guitar is indeed a bargain, especially with the Lace Sensor Pickups.
It really is in near mint condition and whoever buys it. will be very pleased.
