Bass Drive pedal building kit from Moody Sounds, Sweden. Master your sound, build your own pedal! 
We worked out a pedal for Bass together with the owner of the local music store and also a bass player, mr frasse at Jam shop Sweden. The result (after fine tuning the values of a lots of components) was Hjärt Müller. 
The circuit we liked best had similarities with the tube screamer and the lot of pedals that has the same structure, but added much more of fullrange. The secret is mostly the change of one capacitor value. Funny really, how you can change the whole story with just a few changes of components values. The kit comes with an extra bag of components to let you play around with this yourself.
The Hjärt Müller Bass Drive is one of our best selling kits. We recommend it firstly to bass players but also to guitarists who are looking for a full range overdrive that doesn't leave out the low frequencies. 
Another feature with this pedal is the foot accessible knobs. The knobs are placed on the side of the pedal and the idea is that you should be able to change the settings with your foot... in the middle of a song ... just a fine touch with the toe to adapt the new sound on stage.
Hjärt Müller is an analog pedal with the right bass sound. Controls for volume, drive and tone. It has true bypass and is powered with 9v adapter or battery (not included in the kit) 
A detailed manual in English (or Swedish if you prefer) describes how the components are placed on the pcb and how the pcb connects to the jacks, the controls, the switch and the current jack.The manual has been developed over a few years, and many aspects and common questions from first time builders, have been taken into account when it was written.

You need a soldering iron, some patience and some tool for cutting off the ends of the wires for building the kit.

Solid aluminium enclosure, dimensions 120x65x40 mm with drilled holes for the the potentiometers, jacks and the switches. If you want to drill holes yourself, and place potentiometers and switch at other positions, let us know when you make the order, and we send the it without drilled holes.
The print on the pedal, as you can see in the image, is a sticker decal that you apply to the box (polish the box first and apply varnish on the decal to make it look a bit nicer). Or make your own design to it!

Moody Sounds offer kits with different level of difficulty. The Bass Drive is estimated to be level 4 out of 5, so if it is the first time you build a pedal, we recommend a kit with lower level of difficulty, the Moody Fuzz for instance, we have limited possibilities to give support. If you have basic soldering experience, there shouldn't be a problem building this kit.
