Boss PH-1R Phaser Effect Pedal

This classic 4-stage phaser is one of the all time great sleeper pedals from Boss. An update from the PH-1, the PH-1r contains a resonance control that adjusts the feedback and makes for a more versatile effect.

This particular pedal is from March of ’83 and is in amazingly clean condition. There are a few paint chips in the high-stress areas and the LED is a bit dim, but otherwise it looks as though it was stashed in a caring environment for the past 30 years.

Honestly, I love phasers and PH-1r in particular is without question one of my two favorites from this era – the other being the MXR M-107. For what it’s worth, I have it on good authority that both pedals were used on Siamese Dream, which supports my position for it being an amazing unit. Unless of course you hate that record . . .  then bully for you.

Either way, everyone needs a good phaser. If you don’t already have one, you should just go ahead and buy this one.
