Božo B-35 1970s

Bozo Podunanvac was a Serbian born master luthier who immigrated to the U.S. in 1959. He served his apprenticeship with master luthier Milutin Miadenovic and graduated in 1950. Bozo Podunavac licensed the designs for his instruments to a well known Japanese firm that of mr. Yairi, which built them to his specifications.

The Guitar is built on a high level, with a solid spruce top, solid Indian Rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck. It's made back in the mid 1970s by Yairi and his small team of luthiers, the same factory that still makes wonderful guitars, but did some real top of the line guitars back in the 1970s. Meticulous craftsmanship combined to a great tone.

This 12-string Dreadnought was clearly played by an experienced guitarist, its voice has matured quite nicely and it is balanced noticeably over the entire neck. In terms of tone this guitar can be described as "sweet", not really that loud but when strumming a beautifully layered voice can be heard.

This Bozo is in excellent condition. You'll find some minor signs of use on both the top and back, but this guitar is about 40 years old by now, for its age, it looks very good.
