Fresh out of the Fender Custom Shop is the 1951 Telecaster Relic in “Faded Nocaster” Blonde. Featuring a host of classic visuals complete with a tasteful relic job and vintage-style appointments, in addition to the iconic tone that made it a hit initially, it is an incredible instrument that truly lives up to its name. Built to 1951 specs, this Tele has an incredibly lightweight, yet resonant ash body and 1-piece maple “U” shaped neck for players who favor a bolder feel for fretting notes. The neck is smooth and easy to glide around, with a maple fingerboard that’s adorned with 6105 Frets. Its carefully-worn chrome hardware and “Faded Nocaster” finish feature plenty of nicks, dings and scratches to give it the feel and look of an instrument straight out of the early ‘50s. A set of Handwound Nocaster pickups give you that classic tone. From its iconic sound, to its authentic feel and exceptional playability, this 1951 Telecaster Relic is a tremendous guitar from top to bottom.
