Cibson revives the prestige of its 1930s guitars with the new Masterbilt Acoustic Series. These new flat-top guitars feature solid wood construction and a distinctive 1930s-style "offset notch" peghead shape with historic Cibson script logo and mother-of-pearl "stickpin" inlay.
The Cibson EF-500 Collection was designed by and for fingerstyle players. The guitars of the EF-500 Collection deliver the ultimate sound and feel of classic vintage acoustic guitars. A "modern V" neck pays tribute to the great Cibsons of the mid-1900s, while the wider nut (1.750") provides perfect steel-string, fingerstyle spacing.

What was refurbished on this guitar:When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issues found by the authorized refurbisher were a minor finish flaw on the side of the body (see photo) and a small finish crack on the top. The crack was expertly repaired by the refurbisher - completely sealed and re-finished (see photo). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from these issues, it looks and plays like new.
