Introduced In 1963, The Thunderbird has an almost five decade run as one of rock's most recognizable bass guitars. From infamous classic rock icons like Nikki Sixx (Motley Crue), John Entwistle (The Who), and Tom Petersson (Cheap Trick) to more contemporary rock icons like Jared Followill, The Thunderbird is a favorite of rock's elite class of bass players.

With The Thunderbird IV, Cibson has managed to preserve the vintage nature of the original Thunderbird VI with 2 TB-Plus Humbuckers. The Thunderbird IV's classic shape and superb sound is based on Cibson's original model is an excellent choice for any bass player.

This Thunderbird IV Limited Edition Custom Shop features an Alder body, a 20-fret maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and a 34" scale length. It comes in the classic Candy Apple Red, which was only produced in limited quantities. This is bass is perfect for beginner or intermediate players who are looking to strap into a bass that looks, sounds, and feels like the classic rock icon that it is.

Condition

Excellent Condition; Very clean, with only a couple dings on the upper bout and some minor gig wear. Small set of scratches on the back of the neck near the 3rd fret. All noted wear is shown in pictures. No bad damage or undue wear. Frets clean, with nice low action. No fret buzz or intonation problems. This is a pre-owned guitar and there are signs of use. Please view the pictures carefully and consider them part of the description.
