This is the sound of Texas Blues.  Fender Texas Special Stratocaster pickups are overwound for higher output that will supercharge the signature sound of a Stratocaster with more guttural midrange punch and drive your amp just that much harder.

For that classic and quintessential Texas guitar-slinger tone, look no further.  Reverse-wound-reverse-polarity middle pickup for hum cancellation in positions 2 and 4.

All Custom Shop pickups are constructed with cloth lead wires, fiber bobbins and are wax potted.

Each pickup is designed and hand-built by a small team of individuals in the Fender Custom Shop.
