Up for auction is the original owner's manual and other goodies that came with Fender's Classic Player Telecaster. Please note that this set is different from the Classic Player Baja Telecaster, in that this doesn't have the Baja Tele hang tag.  If you're looking for the Baja hang tag, see my other ads, because I may have one listed!

This kit is sealed in a plastic bag, and in addition to the standard Fender goodies (see below), it contains a very nicely printed Switch and Control Description sheet for this guitar, printed on glossy card stock and carefully folded in half.  Those of you who have seen other Fender Switch Control inserts know that this is a departure from the usual poorly photocopied, and roughly folded inserts found with other guitars.

This set may be specialized for a particular type of guitar and contains certain custom items and/or differs from standard Fender Case Candy.  If you are looking for a more general set or something different, please see my other auctions to select the best match for your needs.

 

Many items in this kit are common to most Fender guitars and basses, including the manual and tools.  For Fender branded instruments, the user manual is the same between the American and Mexican instruments, and I've found it applies to most standard Fender and Squier instruments.

Tools (not included in this set):

The Classic Player Tele does not have a Truss Rod adjustment at the headstock, and uses standard slotted screws for the bridge adjustments.  So, it did not come with any tools.  If you need hex wrenches (AKA Allen wrenches), chances are you don't have the Classic Player Telecaster for which this kit was made, and you should check out my other ads.

• Owner's Manual for Guitars and Basses, Copyright 2002 (still current as of 2011). The adjustments and most of the descriptions should apply to most pre-2002 instruments as well.
• Hang Tag: "Thank you" tag featuring Fender headstock designs on one side, "Thank you" message on reverse.

• Bumper Sticker: Fender logo, color as pictured.
• Owner's Registration Card: Blank!
• Booklet, Red warranty booklet

• OK, actually, if it's not pictured and it's not listed, it's not included!
• If it's pictured but not listed, or listed but not pictured, it's probably a mistake. Contact me before bidding!  (Most likely the picture is correct.)

Condition:

New in sealed bag.  The bag may have minor tears or small holes, which can be expected from being shipped and stored around guitar hardware. There may be some marks commonly found on documents that were packaged with guitar hardware, but there are no tears or major defects unless noted in the description or picture.

Please do not abuse the "Ask Seller a Question" feature to spam me. I will report all spam, harassment, or any obvious abuses I don't like that violate eBay's policies.

• No Warranties: I am not a large reseller, so I can't offer any warranties with the items I sell, but may choose to offer one for certain items.  Unless stated otherwise, all items are used, in the condition described, and are sold AS-IS.  Bid accordingly.

• Shipping Charges: I am not a large reseller, so I don't get any volume discounts or other advantages with shipping. I have set up eBay's shipping calculator to show you how much it will cost to ship your item before you bid. If you are unsure about the cost, ask before you bid, rather than complain after the fact.
• Shipping Methods: For U.S.A. shipments, I usually offer three choices of shipping, including USPS Parcel Post or Media Mail (where appropriate) for lower cost. However, these methods are slower, so please don't complain about slow shipping if you choose to go cheap. If you're in a hurry, I recommend USPS Priority Mail. International shipments are always going to be slower. How slow depends on your country.
• Combined Shipping for certain items: If you want to combine shipping on any items that don't have that set up already, please ask before you bid, and I'll let you know if it can be done. Large items usually can't be combined, though, because they're in their own boxes. But, it all depends, so it doesn't hurt to ask. .
• "Sniping" is perfectly legal: Please be aware that you can be outbid at the last minute through a practice called "sniping". Neither eBay nor I have any control over this practice as it is within eBay's Policies. Please watch this item when it's close to the end, or bid your maximum price now so you're not disappointed later.
• Payment: You have seven days to pay for your item. If you don't pay by that time, and don't communicate with me, I will post negative feedback and file a non-paying bidder complaint with eBay (to recoup my fees). Communicate! If you let me know of any problems, I can give you an extension, but if you still end up not paying, I will have to report you.
• Problems? In the unlikely event there is a problem with your purchase, please contact me before leaving feedback. There's probably a simple solution.
• If you have any questions about this item, please ask BEFORE you bid! You are responsible for deciding whether this item will meet your needs.
• If you are not in the U.S.A., Please Read This Paragraph.  I cannot control your country's customs or postal service. Due to an increase in losses I am no longer able to offer any shipping method that does not have reliable delivery confirmation. Lower cost options are risky and lead to cases against me for items not received. I already know the shipping cost is high, and it is beyond my control. The only other choice is to not make this item available to you at all. If you choose to pay it, please do not complain that shipping is too expensive. Please read the link at the top of this ad.
