This is a  pre owned JAPANESE  

FENDER  Made In Japan  Standard STRATOCASTER  GUITAR STD 460R

in ALL ORIGINAL "TIME CAPSULE" condition. 

BUILT BETWEEN 1994/95, IN JAPAN, in the FUJIGEN GAKKI Plant.

Made In Japan and Serial number T 016315 printed on the Front of the Headstock. 

Classic Black, 3 Ply, 11 hole Scratchplate, Naturally aged creamy Pick up Covers and Dials. 

(The Guitar Comes with the Original Whammy bar.)

The Whammy Bar Tip is BRILLIANT WHITE and probably has hardly ever seen the light of day! Fender Factory Inspection/Export and two Allen Keys ..ALL ORIGINAL and AS FACTORY STANDARD.  

ORIGINAL UNFIDDLED WITH pristine CONDITION. 

Quite often they have the pickups changed and the switch or pots replaced .. But this one is TOTALLY Original.

It is believed by many that these 460R strats are designated such because they are 60's Reissues. It's true that a 60's RI would have a rosewood fretboard and a 3 Ply 11 Hole scratch plate but that is as far as this myth goes.!!  This guitar has Ceramic Staggered Pole pickups and (Gotoh) produced Sealed Fender Engraved Tuners and the truss rod adjustment is on the headstock.... Totally Incorrect for a 60's RI.

This guitar is a Fender Japan Standard Strat the R simply stands for Rosewood, as the 460M version is the same guitar but with a Maple Fretboard.

Guitars made to these Specs are the Standard Strats for the Japanese Market and surrounding area. You used to be able to order one in Japan and have it shipped to the UK but Fender have now clamped down on the Japanese shops and will not allow it because it impedes sales of both the MIM and USA Standard Strat. 

These MIJ versions have Basswood bodies, ceramic pickups and Chrome sealed Tuners although they are a cousin of the Mexican Strat, the hard ware and build quality is superior. Fugi Gen had made arguably some of the best strats that Fender ever put their name to and this guitar plays every bit as well as many USA standards that we have had in the store.

Japanese original 250k Ohm mini bodied Pots and 5 way switch. 

The Guitar also has the Vintage style 3 single pickup routing and a Trem/ Bridge with Fender Stamped saddles and cast Fat Block Trem.

The Neck is a One piece maple with skunk stripe and is described as a C shaped like the modern strats but still pretty slim. I find it really comfortable and super smooth. 

With these guitars originality is King! Every SOLDER joint looks to be original too!

They are close ups and show you everything that we have just talked about .....This Strat may have been played half a dozen times but it has spent most of it's 19 years resting some where safe! It has never had the protective film taken off the scratch plate and the dials look as if they have hardly been touched!
