Fender Musicmaster Electric Guitar 1977-78'

This is an absolutely beautiful guitar, definitely the best Musicmaster we have ever laid our eyes on. Built as a student instrument in 1977-78 this guitar is a garage rock dream. One pickup, a volume and tone control keeps this instrument very simple and straightforward. Tonally it is really well balanced, with a nice bottom end but very punchy single coil tone and relatively weak pickups that keep a pushed amp perfectly in check and still maintains a beautiful singing overdriven tone. With the shortened scale, smaller body, and weighing in at only 6 lbs. 10 oz. this little fella is a dream to play. The neck profile is slim but still fits the palm shape just about perfectly and is very fast playing. Cosmetically the guitar is in great shape with just a few small things. The back of the guitar has a ding towards the bottom, also it seems as if someone scratched their Social Security number on the back (which is a super weird move), and there is some finish wear along one of the sides. The guitar includes the original hardshell case. This is just about the holy grail of Fender student models and is not only great looking but a fantastic player that can easily fit just about any mold musically.
