This guitar is a Squier transition model when Fender moved manufacture from Japan to Korea. (1987-88)The first generation MIK Squiers were crafted by Young Chang from 1987-88 and have a great reputation - 
finely crafted and finished necks, and excellent build quality, but the quality was to be short-lived.
By the mid 90s, QC had slipped as Squier outsourced to several different factories in Korea, China, and Indonesia, with varying results. This is an E-series, and has a similar build to the Japanese Squiers that preceded it.
Condition: The guitar is in excellent condition - it has minor body nicks, dings and light buckle rash/ player wear.
The neck is in beautiful shape! (See photos for condition) 
All original hardware - may have replacement volume/tone/switch caps.
