another of the herd has gotta go!

squire affinity strat, made in china.

has that roadworn look ( please see pics )

ive  ( to the best of my memory ) swapped out the tone / volume knobs, pickup selector knob, and the scratchplate.

swapped out the single coils too, these are I think some I picked up of ebay yonks ago, not sure of make, but they sound great ( much better than the ones it had in )

action is great, low, with all that entails, yet no buzzing anywhere.

backplate is missing 2 screws, but don't affect anything.

tuners have no issues, hold this old girl in tune perfectly.

neck has an aged look  again, please see pics )

the phrase " affinity "and " made in china " puts many people off, not suprising, a lot of rubbish has appeared on ebay. you will not be disappointed with this old girl, well made, great action, got the weight to go with it ( nearly 4kilos in weight ) looks the biz.

just might regret this one going ( sigh ).
