Fender Telecaster Thinline Vintage 1968 w/ Case

This is a Fender Telecaster Thinline built in 1968, its first year of manufacture. It was introduced at the end of 1968, so production numbers from this year a quite low. It comes with Case and a new set of Strings (10 - 46) on it.

The guitars body probably has been blond (natural) originaly, according to Fender`s standard when introduced. It has obviously been early refinished, with a thin coat of laquer and whoever did a gread and very goodlooking job refinishing it! But besides that, all looks and seems quite original and it`s been held carefully and in very good condition. Adjustments and action are great and it`s very comfortable and easy to play. Of course there are the common optical issues, as with all vintage guitars. Smaller dents, scratches or scraped spots of laquer that come with all its years, but nothing major and the electric works fine. (Please contact me to request detailed photos.)

This guitar has got a very tasty and nice twangy and stringy sound - great for flat picking, surfy and country style music, or pop music of course.
