Greetings from the Classical-Workshop in beautiful Arizona. Thank you for taking time to look at this handcrafted J. Marcario Flamenco Negra guitar.

The J. Marcario workshop in the Correze, France, makes wonderful Flamenco and classical guitars.  They are beautiful, made with exceptional woods, wonderful tone, and are excellent to play.

This model is from their Classique line, the beautiful Model 55FN cross-over Flamenco classical guitar.  It is built light and fast-playing like a Flamenco guitar, but the French like their Flamenco guitars to also play jazz or classical, so it has been made with woods we would normally associate with classical guitars.  It has a solid Canadian Cedar top with beautiful, well-marked African Rosewood back and sides.

This gives the guitar a fast-playing, quick attack but with better tone than you would normally associate with a Flamenco.  The Cedar top and African Rosewood back and sides give a fuller and more rounded sound.

It is a full scale 650mm instrument, 52mm across the nut, 62mm at the 12^th fret, a modern design, and has a fast Flamenco style action; a very low 3mm at the 12^th fret. 

Bone nut and saddle, with a Rosewood frethead, bridge, and heel piece.

The tuners are beautiful and of high quality, and the strings are by the French makers Savarez.

A little about  myself, I spend each summer in France and starting in spring I attend the Musikmesse (Europe’s largest music trade-show,) in Frankfurt, Germany, to meet guitar makers and see their instruments.  Then, I am fortunate enough to travel Europe visiting music festivals and guitar workshops looking for guitars.

Made for the player who wants their guitar to sound bright and percussive, and responsive when asked for.  The basses are deep, throaty, and focused and the trebles are both bright and clear.  With the proper technique, you will get plenty of the desired flamenco growl yet will also provide sustain and a full range of tones.

Suggested retail price in the US, with its well padded gig bag/soft case, is $1,095.00 but, for a limited time we are going to have this guitar on sale for a buy-it-now price of $411, or you are welcome to make us a reasonable offer.

There are no marks or blemishes, any marks you see in the photos are light reflections.  Beautiful woods, it is a handsome, elegant guitar that will make you proud.
