FROM FRANCE, MODEL 125 J. MARCARIO CONCERT CLASSICAL GUITAR, BEAUTIFUL

FROM FRANCE, MODEL 125 J. MARCARIO CONCERT CLASSICAL GUITAR, MADE WITH ALL SOLID WOODS.

Welcome to the Classical-Workshop in beautiful Arizona.  Thank you for taking time to look at this new, hand-made, J. Marcario Concert 125 Model classical guitar, Serial Number 41.  Ready for stage or studio.

This is a guitar from the Atelier Classique workshop's Concert line, reasonably priced but still hand-made with carefully chosen solid German Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides.

The guitar itself is beautiful but its major attributive is that it  sounds so good.  Deep basses, bell-like trebles, and true sounding mid-tones.  Absolutely no muddiness, clear tone, with excellent projection, all a tribute to how well the guitar has been made.

My photographs do not do justice to this lovely guitar; the craftsmanship is first rate, beautifully made.

The top is a tight grain solid German Spruce, with a bone nut and saddle, and Rosewood heelcap, bridge and head piece.

Lovely wood purfling, beautiful distinctive rosette, with detailed pinstriping along the top/side of the soundboard.   To show it at its best this handsome, elegant guitar has a lovely deep high gloss.

The solid woods give a full range of tones with true trebles and deep low-range/basses.  Also, due to the excellent workmanship, there is no muddiness throughout the tone range; all notes ring loud and clear.  This is an exceptional well-playing and sounding guitar.

The top is solid tight-grained Spruce, a wood that gives immediate response, excellent attack, and wonderful trebles: great sound.  And the solid Mahogany back and sides give full mid and low-range bass tones.  It is a pleasure to play and to listen to.

Distinctive also are the top quality gold tradition style tuning gears, with easy turning machine-heads/tuners that stay in tune.

A little about  myself, I spend time in France each year and starting in spring I attend the Musikmesse (Europe’s largest music trade-show,) in Frankfurt, Germany, to meet guitar makers and see their instruments.  Then, I am fortunate enough to travel Europe going to music festivals and guitar workshops looking for guitars.

The J. Marcario Concert model 125 is from France, and is pleasure to play, the sound is full-toned, and the quality of workmanship is exceptionally high.  It is designed for the serious classical-guitar student who needs a Concert/stage/studio quality instrument at a reasonable price.

To get it to a reasonable price with the same great tone and playability of the workshops Classical Concert 145 models it comes with Mahogany back and sides (still great, great sound,) and the trim /purfling on the back of the guitar is not as detailed.  This ensures the guitar is reasonably priced yet still is an excellent first concert model, and has the sound quality to play onstage or in a recording studio.

It is a full scale 650mm instrument, 52mm across the nut, 62mm at the 12th fret, a modern design, and has a fast action; 4mm at the 12th fret (with room to lower if you wish to make the action faster.)
