We were constantly replacing entire sets of these tuners when they fell apart after the tabs that hold the backs to the base plate came loose. In the case of this set, it was either replace the entire set with tuners that would last or buy a whole set from Cibson 9you couldn't get just 1 tuner) that might do the same thing. These would be perfect if you have a guitar that uses them that you prefer to keep original. All of these are currently solid and functioning as designed.
