On consignment a well preserved Gretsch 1967 Sunburst Viking. This guitar has been in the store owner's California collection for quite some time. It is housed and will arrive in the original grey Gretsch case made by Ess & Ess out of Brooklyn. Guitar does show signs of being almost 50 years old but is still totally intact and is structurally and cosmetically in very good condition. The finish shows signs of play wear, finish checking, worn finish areas, and a few bumps and bruises. The guitar appears to be original in every respect. It does have a filled in strap button hole on the back of the neck. The binding shows numerous hair line cracks but is still solid and firmly attached. The pick guard is showing cracking around the lower attachment screw. The neck is straight, ebony fretboard is in great shape, and the frets have plenty of life left. The guitar weighs 8.75 pounds. The serial number is 87157. Please examine the images carefully and ask any and all questions before you purchase. We are unable to offer returns on vintage gear.
