Gretsch Electromatic G5120 Hollow Body Electric Guitar w/ TKL Case

For sale is a Gretsch G5120 in the classic Gretsch orange finish. This was their first run of reissues and is in minty fresh condition. Part of Gretsch's Electromatic import line, this classic hollow body guitar evokes thoughts of greats like Eddie Cochran, Chet Atkins and Brian Setzer. It has a true 50's rockabilly vibe, and the bright orange finish certainly adds a lot of that mystique to it. This guitar is a great player with a nice medium-chunky C shaped neck that gives you plenty to hold onto, and even though it has a large body, when slung over your shoulder it just falls right and is comfortable in the hands. Tonally very rich, it has a really traditional sound from the TV Jones style filtertron humbucking pickups. It has nice responsive and resonant bass with a hollowish and scooped sounding mids which lend it a nice honky tone. Cosmetically this guitar is A+ with almost no signs of wear and tear with plastic still on the pickguard. Included with the guitar is a TKL hardshell case also in excellent condition. If you're a fan of Rockabilly or just like a nice rounded tone that stands out from the crowd of regular hollowbodies this guitar is a perfect option.
