Add a little flash to your stage show with the Gretsch Electromatic G5566 Jet Double Neck solidbody electric guitar. Besides the killer Silver Sparkle finish, the G5566 has two necks. The lower neck is standard tuned and upper neck is a 29.75" scale length baritone. Tuned E to E from the factory (but currently set up with B-B tuning), the baritone neck delivers the same low end as a bass guitar. Each neck has a pair of humbucking pickups (mini humbuckers on the baritone) and Bigsby vibratos. Expand your sonic palette with the Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck guitar.

Gretsch has earned a reputation for producing high-quality pickups, and the G5566 Jet Double Neck packs two humbuckers into each guitar to give you the warm glow associated with '50s Gretsch guitars. Plug into your favorite tube amplifier and select both pickups to fill the room with organic resonance and smoky tones. But flip to the bridge humbucker and peg the volume knob, and you've got a hot, biting sound at your fingertips.

Nothing beats the character and vintage vibe that a real Bigsby-style tailpiece adds to the G5566 Jet Double Neck. Based on the original design created by Paul A. Bigsby, the Bigsby licensed B50 and B60 tailpieces require next to no effort to use, making it particularly easy to pull off slow, subtle, and extended bends with the Gretsch G5566 Jet Double Neck guitar.

What was refurbished on this guitar:

When this guitar came in from the factory, the only issue found by the authorized refurbisher was a small lacquer crack in the heel joint of the baritone neck. The crack was expertly repaired - completely sealed and re-finished (see photo). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from the minor heel repair, it looks and plays like new. Back of the headstock is stamped "used" and original serial # has been replaced with a new one.
