The Hank Marvin Signature Stratocaster was built in Japan in 1991 and intended for the UK market only.
Very few made it to the US.It is estimated that they limited the run to 1500 guitars, so it is something of a rarity.
At the time, Squier had moved manufacture to Korea and China, so this was a special run of guitars manufactured by Fender Japan.


This guitar has that essential Strat tone.
It was crafted as a tribute to the Fiesta Red Strat that helped define The Shadows unique surf sound in the early 60s in the UK.But it doesn't just look the part - it is in every sense a finely crafted FENDER STRATOCASTER,
made by the same factory that craft the Fender MIJ vintage reissues, but for a fraction of the cost.
Condition: This is a beautiful instrument. The guitar is in excellent condition.
It has a paint chip/ding at the top of the left horn, and a dime-sized paint indentation also on the left horn front.
There are a few tiny finish scratches, but all very minor.
