I bought this book when it first came out. It suffered a slight bump to the corner of the slipcasewhen it was shipped to me. Fortunately, it didn't transfer to the book. The book is a snug fit in theslipcase, so I've stored it removed from the case to reduce wear on the cover. The book is still virtuallylike-new. It's full of pictures of amazing custom guitars built by top-notch luthiers.
I'm asking less for this rare limited edition hardcover than many sellers are asking for the paperback version.
