The AEL is Ibanez's largest acoustic guitar body and is an excellent choice for players who want an expansive, natural acoustic sound.

When it comes to full and natural projection, you can trust this AEL108TD's full-sized AEL body style to deliver the sound you demand. Larger in the lower bout than most of Ibanez's acoustic electric guitars yet slender enough not to overwhelm smaller guitarists, the AEL108TD's AEL body shape gives you both an excellent balance of feel, projection, depth, and sparkle - just what you want when you're playing a acoustic with a band. With this AEL108TD, you've got exactly what you need to push the musical envelope.

Plugged in, the AEL has Fishman electronics delivering a sweet cascade of acoustic tones, never harsh or tinny, ready for any stage.  This Ibanez AEL108TD acoustic electric guitar packs Fishman's Sonicore pickup, and the Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp gives you bass, treble, and volume controls to dial in a great tone fast. Best of all, the built-in tuner makes it easy to keep your instrument sounding its best.

The Ibanez AEL108TDNT is an AEL body acoustic electric 8-string guitar with the B and high E string doubled. This configuration produces a natural chorus effect and accentuates the ringing sound of a 12-string, while eliminating the sonic clutter of higher octave tones on the lower 4 strings. It also permits the player to easily execute clean mid/bass runs on the G, D, A and low E strings and liberates them from the occasionally cumbersome performance challenges of a traditional 12-string. While this feature is usually only found on high-end boutique instruments, the AEL108TDNT is a surprisingly affordable acoustic, inviting more players than ever to experience this unique string arrangement and the creative opportunities it affords.

This guitar has a beautiful natural finish on a Spruce top. The back and sides are Mah, as well as the neck. The 25.51" scale Rosewood fretboard has 20 frets with dot inlays.

It has been completely checked over by The Music Farm team, and also by the largest manufacturer refurbishing center in America. Buying one of these guitars is almost like buying a brand new guitar, but getting a huge savings on it!

Most of these instruments do not have any visible defects. If there is a visible defect it will be indicated in pictures and in the description. These guitars do not carry the original manufacturer warranty, and in order to prevent invalid warranty claims they are lightly stamped “USED” or “2nd” on the back of the headstock, and the original serial number has been replaced with a new serial number from the refurbishing center.

We ship from a few warehouses across the USA, so depending on your ship to location, transit time can range from 1-5 business days according to our shipping map below. It is a general transit time.

All returns must be picked up within 14 days of the original delivery date. The returned item must be in the same condition that it was received in, and all accessories, packaging, manual and warranty cards must be included. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs and must ship the item back fully insured. Once the item is received we will process a refund minus the original shipping charge and a 15% restocking fee.
