Ibanez AW400C Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric Guitar

The Artwood Series was crafted to produce a traditional, yet modern guitar. Technology moves forward at a frantic pace and the world of guitar craftsmanship is no different. In producing the Artwood Series, Ibanez has respected both the rich tradition of the acoustic guitar while adding modern interpretations in its continuing search for the ultimate in guitar tone.

The AW400C Artwood Solid Top Dreadnought Acoustic-Electric features their Dreadnought body shape, a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck (satin finish), back and sides, a rosewood fretboard and tortoiseshell body binding. It also comes with a bone nut to deliver a well-balanced sound, a bone saddle on a distinctively contoured rosewood bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, and chrome Grover open gear tuners with butterbean knobs. When you need some more amplification, the AW400C includes a Fishman Sonicore pickup with Ibanez AEQ-SP2 preamp and onboard electronic tuner.

This is a refurbished instrument. These guitars are sent directly from the manufacturer to the authorized refurbishing center where they are fully inspected and cleared by a certified technician. The guitars are sent there for many reasons, including: Cosmetic flaws, Minor repairs & Discontinued Models.

Most of the Instruments that we sell have no flaws. For any that do, we will describe the flaw or repair in the listing and include a photo if it is visible. Some item specifics may vary from stock description above. The actual guitar for sale is shown in the photographs.

All of our guitars come with a new standard factory setup, but may require a small amount of fine tuning to fit the players personal taste. In order to prevent false warranty claims, the guitar is given a new serial number and the back of the headstock is lightly stamped "used" or "2nd" by the authorized refurbishing center. These guitars are the next best thing to buying new!

Condition: The guitar has had a couple minor finish flaws repaired that are no longer detectable. The guitar also has a bit of dried wax residue on the sides that would not wipe off easily (see pics) Otherwise, it is in like new mint condition! Save Big!
