A nice example of the Johnson Stratocaster in good condition.
Produced by AXL, Johnson guitars are are noted as having a sound and build quality beyond their price tag.  Johnson feature good tonewoods.  The body is alder and the neck is hard maple with a lovely figuring.  This particular Strat has great resonance and volume unplugged, which is always a sign of a good-sounding guitar.
Its three EMG-designed, Johnson-motifed pickups give out a quality, fat sound and are low-noise, even on single coil.
The tone controls are effective and you can really get some tonal variation.  
I've enjoyed playing this guitar; it's capable of real expression.  The action is medium at the moment and easy to fret.
Serial number 2004104184.  I presume that this means it was finished in 2004.
 A few small scratches, mainly on the back. None go through the finish. There's one small colour blemish on the top and a small mark on the scratch plate. Old holes from previous machine heads are filled but not unsightly. See the photos.
