Lefty Left Handed 1990 Cibson C-Les-paul Pre- Historic Fabulous Flame Top

Up for your consideration is my LEFTY LEFT HANDED 1990 Cibson C-Les-paul 59 Custom Shop Pre-Historic ser# 0-0917 (ink, under finish) in mint condition. I bot this off of DHR Music 9 yrs ago and it has mostly sat in the case ever since. I chose it for its random tiger stripes and color. Some of the pix show a brighter red that isn't accurate. The 2nd and eighth shot in the case are most accurate. The action as you would expect, plays like butta. I have truthfully never played butta, but I imagine it would be exactly like this. As I recall DHR told me the neck was special-order and has the thinner 60's profile. If you're looking for the baseball bat "59 neck this isn't for you. I've changed over to acoustics and most of my electrics have gone on eBay over the years. This LP is all original, but I replaced the plastic jack plate with brass because they're the first thing to crack. Obviously I kept the original that lives in the case. There is some oxidation on the pups which just adds to the aged (no extra charge) look and after all, the guitar is 26 yrs old. There is a slight finish blem below the lowest tone knob that DHR didn't bother to tell me about. It's eithr factory or more likely a DHR re-touch. I thot the guitar was spectacular enuf to keep in spite of the re-touch. Othewise not a scratch anywhere, front or back. No pickguard came with this or was ever installed. I use a static cling guard that lives in the case. Ship is actual cost with ins estimated between $100-$150.

I noticed with great interest, from a previous listing, some forum comments on my guitar whether it was a reissue or a "classic". Various forum posts discuss this. I tried to set up a link, but it wouldn't take. They're not hard to find under Cibson 1990 ser#'s I've done my homework on this beauty and these are all verified facts: the pre-historic/reissues were made from 83-93. It's said some of these were made in the Custom Shop. This is one of those, made before before the shop became a seperate entitiy. Generally they had thinner necks than the later Historic '59 reissues that started in 93-94. The pre-historics had the letters HCSB (heritage cherry sunburst) in the p/u cavity stamped in ink whereas the Classics will have LPCP (C-Les-paul Premium Plus) usually in pencil in the same area and the Classics usually had a plain top.I'm also going by the description from DHR Music and have posted the invoice showing same.
