Die Martin D-18 E kombiniert die klassische Dreadnought mit einem Fishman F1 Aura Elektronik-System, das echte Vintage-Gitarren-Einstellungen gespeichert hat. Sie wurden mit einer 1937er D-18 eingespielt, und zwar über die Mikrofone des Nashville Tontechnikers Bill Vorndick (Bob Dylan, Alison Krauss), der auch sein Know-how beigesteuert hat. Aber diese Martin Dreadnought klingt natürlich auch unplugged großartig, sie hat diese Magie aus Fichte und Mahagoni.

 

Es handelt sich nämlich nicht um eine normale D-18, sondern um eine mit Vintage Bracing. Die Decke ist aus Sitka-Fichte, wie gesagt, der Boden und die Zargen sind aus Mahagoni. Der Mahagoni-Hals hat ein Performing Artist-Profil und eine Sattelbreite von 44,5 mm, und das lässt sich komischerweise genauso gut spielen wie ein schmaler Hals.

 

Die Elektronik hat einen "Easy"-Modus mit drei verschiedenen Einstellungen, die alle auf den Vintage Sounds basieren. Man kann aber auch den normalen Sound der Gitarre einstellen. Der "Performance"-Modus erlaubt dann individuelle Einstellungen. Das solltest du wirklich mal gespielt und gehört haben, es ist eine großartige Gitarre mit einem großartigen Pickup-System. Wir liefern diese D-18E im Martin-Koffer, inklusive Mehrwertsteuer und mit 5 Jahren TFOA-Garantie.
