Diese OM-18 aus dem Martin Custom Shop hat eine Decke aus Adirondack-Fichte, der Boden und die Zargen sind aus Mahagoni, ebenso der Hals. Griffbrett und Steg sind aus Ebenholz.

 

Die Adirondack-Fichte bietet genügend Volumen, um diese Gitarre nicht nur für Fingerstyle zu verwenden. Sie bedient auch Flatpicking und Strumming sehr souverän. Es ist eine sehr vielseitige Gitarre, die alles mitmacht. Sie klingt sehr kraftvoll, knackig, mit exzellenter Definition. Außerdem ist sie schon eingespielt, sie hat diesen trockenen, warmen Klangcharakter. Das V-Halsprofil ist sehr angenehm zu spielen. Diese Martin OM-18 GE hat nur minimale Spuren um das Schlagbrett herum, ansonsten ist sie wie neu.
