This buy-it-now is for a nice Ovation CC 012 3/4 size guitar. Very similar to the travel guitar that Ovation sells now. This acoustic only. NO pickup. The guitar has a straight neck with a functioning truss rod and proper relief set. The bridge has been filed to get a string height of 1.75 on the bass side ans 1.50 on the treble side at the 12th fret. This is a respectable, but slightly high setting at A440 standard tuning. If you tune down 1/2 step, the action will be even lower. Sounds decent though. I would guess at some point in it's life, someone had too heavy of a string set on it and raised the A-braced top a bit. There is a repaired finish chip under the high E tuner that is purely cosmetic. The tuners are all brand new from All-Parts and are nice quality items. The neck has a small dent in the back as seen in the picture and the profile is fairly thick for such a small guitar. Extra small hands might face a bit of a challenge? The frets are in good shape though and it has been re-strung with a fresh set of Elixir Phospher Bronze 47-11 extra light gauge strings.This guitar would be best suited for someone wanting a small easily transported guitar for travel, but would also work for a beginning student. Sounds nice but don't expect it to sound like a Martin.
