Peavey USA T-40 4 String Bass Guitar in good condition but with a considerable amount of small dents, dings and scratches on the body. Classic white finish with a black pickguard and chrome hardware. The bass is set up with a nice action and the thin profile maple neck with a metal nut has a good feel and is easy to play. The frets are in very good condition with light playwear.

The body is very dense giving the bass a lot of resonance. The frets are in very good condition. The pickups are very cool. The electronics are passive but very functional. As you turn the tone controls to "10" the pickups go to single coil mode. This mode sounds very reminiscent of the Rickenbacker sound. As you turn down the tone, instead of just rolling off the high end, the other coil is added giving a fuller humbucking tones along with more output (and anything in between). After the tone control is rolled below around 6 the high end gets rolled off giving warm, mellow tones. When both pickups are together you you can put them out of phase with the other toggle switch.

These basses are extremely versatile and built like a tank. This one is very solid, no cracks or breaks. Check out some of the YouTube videos or online forums of this bass. If you weren't up on these basses you may change your mind. Major bang for the buck.
