**Welcome to Tone Man Guitar**

Give your guitar that Classic Vintage Strat Tone..... Cloth Push Back Wiring, .022 Cap  ----  This basic kit will fit most Fender Stratocaster / Squire Style Guitars.  It will make a difference!

 

Features:

·   Bourns top quality PDA241 Series 250K Vintage-Style Potentiometers.  Short-Split Shaft – Audio Taper – 15% Tolerance.  Design specifically for use in

    guitars. Brass bushing with metal shaft. Long Life Carbon Element.  Each pot comes with nut and dress washer.

• Oak Grigsby 5 way switch.  One of the highest quality switches available.
  
• Switchcraft ¼ inch mono output jack.
  
• Sprague Orange Drop .022uf 600v Tone Capacitor.
  
• All wired with Vintage 50’s Style Gavitt Cloth Push Back 22awg wire.  This kits comes with standard Stratocaster wiring. (See options below)
  
• Assemble Template.  Note these templates do not get installed in your guitar.  Only used to assure correct measurement when building, shipping protection and makes your part of the project easier. 
  

Optional modifications:If you prefer any of the below modifications add a note to your order or send me an email immediately after purchase.
Option: ** Jimmy Vaughn / Eric Johnson type wiring.  JV / EJ wiring changes the tone (T2) control from the middle pick up to the bridge pick up.
Option: ** .047uf sprague cap in place of .022uf. Gives a darker tone.

 

Assembled Kit Includes:

            3 – Bourns PDA241 Series 250K potentiometers, Short-Split-Shaft, Audio Taper

            1 – Oak Grigsby 5 way switch (tip not included)

            1 – Sprague Orange Drop .022uf 600v Capacitor

            1 – Switchcraft ¼ inch output jack

            1 – 50’s style Gavitt cloth push back 22awg wiring / Basic standard Stratocaster wiring (see Options)

            1 – Assembly Template Hard Board

                        (All assembled except for final hook up of ¼ inch output jack & pickup connections)

I personally prefer Bourns potentiometers over all other brands including CTS.  I have found them to be smoother and longer lasting.

 

All harness come with clear instructions and an easy to read wiring diagram

 

Note: If you have an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, etc.)  you may need to modify the potentiometer holes to 3/8 inch to accommodate the Bourns bushings.  Knobs may also need to be modified.  Please measure before you order.ith any questions.

 

Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pick ups and output jack.  A 30 – 40 watt soldering iron is recommended.  Make sure you are comfortable with making these connections or we suggest you take this to a qualified guitar tech to complete the installation.  I can not be responsible if you damage a unit. 

 

Each harness is assembled after purchase so my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 3 to 8 business days.  Please do not order if you are expecting next day delivery.  I will send you an email once your unit is shipped.
