Product Description:

The Tanglewood TW45 H B is a Mini Jumbo Cutaway (or "Super Folk", as Tanglewood calls it) body style built around a solid AAA select cedar top with a nice tight grain and gorgeous solid mahogany back and sides with walnut binding to add to its definite higher-end look and feel. Tanglewood went with the classic scalloped X-bracing pattern. A glossy polyurethane finish covers the headstock and the top, back, and sides. The choice of wood for both the bound satin-finished neck and bridge are ebony, adding to the guitar's elegance. The bridge is compensated for proper intonation and features complimentary gold Kluson-style precision tuners. Real abalone adorns the Tanglewood logo on the headstock and attractive neck position markers, while the B-Band A5T preamp is a sturdy, reliable sound engine offering a plethora of sonic capabilities. The guitar features a 25.59" scale and 1.6875" nut.
B-Band A5T PreampThe A5T features a slider 3-band EQ and volume control, notch filter and frequency rotary controls, phase button, low battery LED, and full range chromatic tuner. The fully chromatic tuner has an LED strip that shows the note and individual LED’s showing the half step, sharp, flat, and in-tune. The tuner is fast and responsive and will tune to a full step down from standard and is great for open tunings and also 12-string guitars.

What was refurbished on this guitar:When this guitar came in from the factory, there was a minor lacquer crack on the top which partially ran underneath the bridge. The refurbisher pulled off the bridge to repair the lacquer crack - and while they were at, they decided to give the guitar a beautiful custom copper finish on the top. After repairing the lacquer crack and completing the custom paint job, the bridge was re-glued to the body. There are a few very tiny lacquer dings around the bridge from the repair (which do not show up in photos). No other repairs or modifications were made to the guitar. Aside from these modifications, it looks and plays like new.
