The Story (so far)
Howdy players it's Johnny here, For a long time I've wanted my guitars to 'bling'. It's the revolution of the guards, it had to begin... Real guitars needed better quality pickguards !! A good looking, timeless alternative - a statement of CLASS that SHINES! After much research & testing in the Black Coat Lab, I found the best results in using a specialised stainless steel. I began taking the steel guards to my band gigs. Then other players would ask what it was. So I designed some superb smokin' pickguards for their favourite stage guitars. Blame my guitar buddies for all this! But they were right, it certainly adds attitude value to a guitar. Veterans of Vintage Tone - fear nothing, I am one also! After many A/B Tone tests between plastic and these steel guards, what I heard was especially neutral, and I'm jumping for joy! But there's a bonus... Other players have said when using their guitars with these guards, the pickup circuitry has become quieter, and also cuts down electro noise at higher volumes. And they are absolutely right! It's a great result: They look killer, don't effect tone, and beats down noise like a champ. Gradually new models will be added to the limited edition design choices, for all your tastes.* Many players are requesting guards not yet available in this collection. That's great, keep it rolling.
